Stress Management: Coping strategies are taught to manage the stressors of transitioning from school to work or higher education.

Berdy Occupational Therapy services are tailored to support individual girls and women at every stage of life, from 11 years old (grade 5) onwards. Finding the right OT is important and a personal decision. Please see below for a list of appointments and packages currently available.
Session duration: 80-85 minutes | A comprehensive OT initial assessment evaluating the client's physical, cognitive, and emotional capacities, issues, and needs in context of their lifestyle and roles. Specific, measurable, & achievable goals are then collaboratively established which serve as a roadmap for guiding therapeutic interventions and measuring progress.
Session duration: 50-55 minutes | A range of tailored OT services are available for girls and women across their lifespan. Our interventions focus on life skills development, self-care and restoration, capacity building, family relationship support, positive self-concept development, and more. We work to empower individuals to overcome challenges, improve occupational balance and wellbeing, and foster personal growth.
Session duration: 40 minutes | For self-motivated and self-driven clients who have a single issue or challenge and would like to consult with our OT. This one-off session is client-led, and will focus on client-centered education and recommendations to help individuals learn, apply new strategies, and achieve specific goals.

A comprehensive suite of OT assessments and report to support a new NDIS application and plan reviews. This package typically takes 2 to 6-weeks, and usually includes:
Fees for Berdy Occupational Therapy services are in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (www.ndis.gov.au/providers/pricing-arrangements). Current rates reflect the 2022-2023 NDIS Price guide. All clients are requested to settle their accounts at the time of the consultation.

Medicare | Chronic Disease Management Plan (was 'Enhanced Primary Care Plan'). GP referral needed.
Private Health Funding or Insurance | Rebates for OT sessions vary by provider and coverage level. Please consult your health care provider for details. You may request private health insurance item numbers for billing, but we cannot process rebates.
